Debby the Tropical Storm arrived Sunday during lunch and did not leave until today. She stayed way too long! The rain came and came and to be honest at times I felt like Noah...ok it wasn't that bad but it was a lot of rain!! Here are a few pictures of some of the rain around our house and my parent's house. There were so many homes damaged and I am thanking the Lord it was not worse.
Tonight the girls came home from their 17 day trip to Louisiana. They had a WONDERFUL time. When they arrived home we were smack dab in the middle of "Debby" the tropical storm. It was horrible. Our area had flooding like we have not had in probably over a 100 years. So many people had damage to their homes. Thankfully the girls made it home safely and we were able to weather the rest of the storm home together.
I can't thank my sister and her family enough for all their hospitality to my two little ladies!! We love you guys!
Typically I let the girls choose what they would like to be for Halloween. This year Michaela wanted to be a bride. I did not realize the impact it would have on me. I vowed we would not repeat this one...too real for my liking!! I don't want to see either of them in a bridal gown for years!
